Great news for schools and CPP as Lesley Jamison Joins CPP’s team.

Lesley worked for Birmingham City Council (BCC) for 39 years and for the last 20 years worked in the Education Asset Management Team advising and supporting schools to access and secure a wide range of capital funding initiatives.

Lesley’s project based experience ranges from whole school rebuilds to major extensions, refurbishment, remodeling and maintenance schemes.

Her skills, experience and knowledge of the Local Authority’s internal processes, national gateway and grant applications for Academies and the associated procedures, procurement and governance requirements for capital investment projects is second to none. Having managed the local authorities Asset Management Team and Capital program for the last 5 years, Lesley is an ideal addition to the CPP team.

Lesley’s expertise will now directly help maximise the opportunities for individual schools to successfully access opportunities for, amongst other things, dual funding from the Local Authorities, securing landlord approvals, and fulfilling their statutory compliance and duty holder responsibilities.

On working with CPP Lesley said, “Having retired from BCC, I am delighted and excited to be working with CPP Ltd. I have seen how CPP have made a difference to the quality of capital projects it has engaged with and I want to add to that for the benefit of more schools”.

Lesley is a unique and invaluable resource for schools and is looking forward to the opportunity to work more closely and directly with schools in the future.
